
BELLINGHAM – The Lyncs defeated the Red Raiders 3-1 in a girls soccer match on Tuesday night.

Senior Emily Mellema scored a pair of goals and fellow senior Grace Meyer scored a goal as well.
“It was a solid team effort,” Lynden Christian coach Brent De Ruyter said in a text message. “And, a fantastic team win from front to back.”
The Lyncs (1-1) will travel to Anacortes (2-1) to take on the Seahawks on Thursday at 7:00, and Bellingham (1-1) will host Oak Harbor on Thursday at 6:00.
