The WIAA has recently named Lynden sophomore Riley Anderson at Athlete of the Week. The sophomore batted 10-for-11 in three games, with three doubles, a triple, a homerun, and 10 runs batted in. The Lions went 3-0 during the week, and just came off of a 14-1 win over Sedro Woolley yesterday, in which Anderson went 2-for-2, was hit by a pitch, scored three runs, knocked in three and added another double and home run to her season totals.
Anderson is now batting .600 with 27 hits, nine doubles, three triples, four home runs and 20 runs batted in.
