DEMING – After splitting the first two sets, the Mount Baker volleyball team won its next two sets 25-22 and 25-21 over Oak Harbor on Thursday night.
Rylee Ross led the way with nine kills and 33 digs, and she was helped by Trinity Anderson and her 10 kills and 18 digs.
“We played amazingly,” exclaimed Mount Baker coach Brittany Ross. “The entire team stepped up. It was a great effort by all.”
Grace Leverne also contributed with six kills to go along with four aces.
The Mountaineers (2-8) will host Burlington-Edison (9-2) on Monday at 7:00.
