BURLINGTON – The Squalicum girl’s swim team got first place in almost every event, and swam away with a 123-43 victory over Sedro Woolley on Thursday.
Mia Eide, Tessa Ciatti and Emma Balogh each had a pair of times that were strong enough to automatically qualify them for district. Eide’s times were in the 200-Yard Individual Medley and the 500-Yard Freestyle. Ciatti also qualified for district in the 200-Yard Individual Medley, as she did for the 100-Yard Butterfly. Balogh’s qualifying times were in the 50-Yard Freestyle and the 100-Yard Backstroke.
Squalicum (1-0) will face Bellingham (1-0) at the Arne Hanna Aquatic Center on October 3rd.
