LYNDEN – The Red Raiders traveled to Lynden and came away with 7-0 victory in tennis on Thursday.
Bellingham’s doubles combos of Hannah Hodge/Amya Cook, Emma Kenoyer/Hannah Reidel, and Michelle Breeding/Bianca Garcia all won in straight sets. The four singles matches went to Bellingham as well, with Louli Ziels, Emily Linton, Hope Macke and Britney Butcher prevailing against the Lions.
“I really liked how our doubles teams worked together, and it was another good showing by our singles players,” Bellingham coach Steve Chronsiter said. “And it was a beautiful day to play tennis.”
The Red Raiders are 2-0 on the season and host Sedro-Woolley in their home opener on Monday at 4:00.
