On this day in Whatcom County football history, the Blaine Borderites defeated Earl Marriott (BC) 65-0 in 2018. It was the most points a Blaine football team has ever scored in a single game.
The Borderites scored 42 points in the first half, and started the second half with an 83-yard kickoff return for a touchdown by senior transfer, Derek Machula.
The Blaine special teams unit also excelled in other areas throughout the game, as the team blocked three punts in the game and kicker Bryce Kamrath broke a school record by connecting on nine extra points.
