On this day in Whatcom County football history:
1995: Lynden Christian senior running back Lance Bosman set a school record by rushing for 242 yards in a 27-22 win over King’s. Bosman’s record still stands, and he is still the Lyncs’ all-time leading rusher.
2000: Mount Baker senior quarterback Brent Cowden set a school record by throwing four touchdown passes in a 54-8 win over Granite Falls. His record has been tied numerous times, but has yet to be broken.
