1983: Lynden Christian senior wide receiver Tim Zylstra set a school record by catching eight passes in a 34-0 win over Nooksack Valley. The record stood for three years.
1988: Ferndale junior running back Lance Dawson set a school record by rushing for 281 yards in a 53-7 win over Mount Vernon. His accolades landed him in the USA Today newspaper, and his school record stood for eight years.
