On this day in Whatcom County football history:
2009: Meridian junior wide receiver Mitchell Tripp set a new Whatcom County record with 287 receiving yards in a 41-32 loss to New Westminster, BC. He hauled in 10 passes during the game, and scored two touchdowns. 11 years later, Tripp’s Whatcom County record still stands.
