On this day in Whatcom County football history:
1993: Nooksack Valley senior wide receiver Vince Anderson set a school record by catching nine passes in a 42-20 loss to Cedarcrest. His school record stood for 13 years.
1999: Ferndale junior running back Robert Davis set a Whatcom County record by averaging 29.2 yards per carry in a 56-6 win over Sedro Woolley. 21 years later, that is still the Whatcom County record for yards per carry in a game (with at least 10 carries).
