2004 – Nooksack Valley senior quarterback Kyle Mitchell breaks the school record by throwing five touchdown passes in a 39-13 win over Lynden Christian. On the receiving side of these touchdown passes were junior wide receivers Jeshua Morgan and Alex Van Dyken. Both receivers had six receptions each, with Morgan totaling 111 yards and two scores and Van Dyken finished with 100 yards and three touchdowns. Mitchell’s school record stood for nine years.

2010 – Blaine senior Todd Bird set a school record with 223 receiving yards in a 44-0 win over Notre Dame, BC. The All-State wide receiver caught nine passes during the game, and converted three of them for touchdowns. 10 years later, his school record still stands.

2011 – Although the Nooksack Valley Pioneers lost 25-15 on the road to Cascade Christian, some record-breaking numbers were established in the game. Senior quarterback Trevon Myhre established a new school record by passing for 357 yards. He also ran for 104 yards and two touchdowns. The majority of his passes found junior, Trey Handy. The All-State wide receiver caught 13 passes for a school-record 288 yards. In fact, it’s not only the school record, but still stands today as the Whatcom County record for receiving yards in a game. Myhre’s school record was broken five years later.
