One of my favorite players to watch. I remember being on the sidelines and seeing him start at linebacker in the last game of the season in his freshman year. I thought, “If he’s getting this kind of playing time as a freshman, he’s gonna be some kind of player.” He flourished this year as the main ball carrier for the Red Raiders. And he might be the hardest hitting linebacker I saw this year. It doesn’t even need to be the ball carrier, I’ve seen him take out his share of would-be blockers. Look for him to be an All-State candidate next season. Was named All-Conference 1st Team at linebacker and All-Conference Honorable Mention at running back.
