It seems like he’s been in the Meridian backfield forever. A three-year starter at running back that runs extremely hard between the tackles, and is tough to bring down. He was the thunder to Dawson Logan’s lightning in the ground game. That’s not to say that he’s not fast, though. Extremely quick once he breaks through. A player that enjoys contact. Played defensive tackle last season, and was moved to linebacker this year. Thrived from that spot as well. Played with immense toughness. Only five players in Meridian history carried the ball more times in their career than Roberts.
