Kleindel wasn’t on my radar when the season started, but that changed quickly. He was a difference maker in the defensive backfield. Played much larger than his size. Not afraid to make a big hit. A physical player. Had an outstanding run in the state playoffs. Played the run and the pass equally as well. Was named All-Conference 2nd Team at defensive back.
