Despite being 5-foot-10, his leaping ability allowed him to be one of the best players at catching jump balls. Awesome hands, perhaps the best hands in the county. Made spectacular catches. His 47 receptions was the most by a Lynden Christian player in a season since 1997 when Rob Dykstra caught 59. Caught five passes for 61 yards and two touchdowns against Nooksack Valley, and then topped that with an eight-reception game for 201 yards and a score the next time against the Pioneers. Was named All-Conference 1st Team at wide receiver.
