I’m not sure if there was a more physical player than Smith in 2018. At times he was just at another gear than everyone else. Awesome linebacker, and a tackling machine. Also very good in pass coverage. Didn’t run a lot with Dylan Roberts in front of him, but had a knack for finding the end zone. A scary runner. Didn’t go down easy, and made some opposing players look like they didn’t want to tackle him. Was named All-Conference Honorable Mention at linebacker. Will be one of the leaders for the Mariners in 2019.
