A game changer on both sides of the line. The absence was noticeable when he was injured in the middle of the season. Tremendous strength and has the ability to get under his opponent despite being taller than most. Great footwork as an offensive lineman. The Trojan power run game ran right behind him. Defensively, very active. Scored two touchdowns on defense, and still able to get four sacks while getting constant double teams. Widely regarded among the 1A coaches in the NWC as the best lineman. Was named All-Conference 1st Team at both offensive line and defensive line. Was also named All-State 1st Team at offensive line and All-State 2nd Team at defensive line. It’s the second year in a row to receive all four of those honors.
