It will be strange next season, watching the Mount Baker football team without #86 out there. A staple of the defense the past three seasons, and the starting tight end the past two seasons, you always knew you were going to get an all-out effort from Kentner. After being named All-State 1st Team at tight end last season, he followed that up with catching 10 more passes as a senior. He was the second leading tackler in Whatcom County, and was also second with 12 tackles for loss. In fact, he totaled 22 tackles for loss in his career, not including sacks. He was named All-Conference 1st Team at both tight end and linebacker for the second year in a row.
