I can’t remember the last time a sophomore led the entire county in tackles and forced fumbles. He has a nose for the football, and is such a sure-handed tackler. It doesn’t end there, as he was probably the best linebacker in pass coverage with four pass deflections and three interceptions. He not only led Whatcom County in tackles, but he also led in special teams tackles. Also started at guard, and did pretty great considering it was a new position for him. A former running back, that competed for the starting quarterback job, and when Coach Lepper told him that he was needed at guard to help the team, Beason wanted nothing more than to help his team succeed. He was named All-Conference 1st Team at both offensive line and linebacker, and was named All-State 2nd Team at linebacker.
