It’s rare when one of the biggest players on the field is one of the best athletes on the field. I believe there were times when he was (not just one of) the biggest player AND the best athlete on the field at the same time. A force at right tackle, that can use power, or footwork to dominate his opponent. Defensively, he was all over the field, which is rare to do from the interior of the line. He led his team in tackling, which is also very unusual from the defensive tackle position. He also led his team in tackles for loss and fumble recoveries. He was named All-Conference 1st Team at both offensive line and defensive line, and he was also named All-State 2nd Team at defensive line.
