Not many athletes stand out on the field quite like Cavalier. At times he was a one-man wrecking crew, and he did it in all three phases of the game. Showed awesome leadership on the field and on the practice field. Started the season out at wide receiver, and had a standout game at Sammamish. Was moved to quarterback, where is dual-threat abilities were off the charts. He also intercepted three passes in just six games, and was one of the best kickoff returners in the county. In fact, he became just the fourth player in Whatcom County history to run for a touchdown, throw for a touchdown, catch a touchdown pass and return a kickoff for a touchdown in the same season. The other three being Ben Peterson, Daniel Ziegler and Nick deGrasse. Pretty good company.
