As a defensive player, good luck running past him. His wingspan will swallow you up, and his strength can always bring you in. He constantly lived in the opposing team’s offensive backfield. Can slip blockers with ease, and then attack the ball carrier. Was able to wall off defenders from his offensive tackle position, and always continued with a heavy push. As an overall lineman, I considered him to be one of the best in Whatcom County. He was named All-Conference 2nd Team at offensive line AND defensive line.
