The recurring theme of each player that gets named on this list, especially this high, is toughness. Overall, there might not be a tougher player around than Marty Karb. He had to battle injuries for a good chunk of his high school career, and he still stood out. He was the best center I saw this year, and one of the best of the decade. Also an Eagle Scout, which is an amazing accomplishment by itself. Fiercely strong, and the Lions loved running behind him. He was named All-Conference 1st Team at offensive line.
