I wouldn’t say that he was the biggest surprise of 2019 for me, because I knew his talent as a passer, and his genes (his dad, Evan, was one of the top offensive linemen in Whatcom County of the 1990’s), but it was how quickly he developed, and his running ability that took me by surprise a little bit. He never seemed to get rattled, and he played his best in the biggest moments. Accounted for 20 touchdowns during the season, and only threw three interceptions. He could have a huge season as a senior in 2020. The prototype Lynden quarterback that can excel in many areas of the game.
