Perfect size for a high school tight end. Wide receiver skills, and became a mismatch problem for opposing defenses. A very reliable target on third downs, but also could be a deep threat over the middle. Often dragged tacklers with him. Led the Pioneers in all receiving categories. Started the year at inside linebacker, and switched to defensive end halfway through the season. If he couldn’t get to the quarterback, he was able to perfectly time his leaps to knock the ball down, and did it six times during the season. Was named All-State 1st Team at tight end.
