Flowers had an uncanny knack for getting to the quarterback. His 7.5 sacks was good enough for seventh place in Whatcom County, and second place on his team. A little undersized for both guard and defensive end, but made up for it with quickness and determination. A very good two-way player, and probably the most unsung Mountaineer senior. He was a big part of the offensive line that had to come together quickly, and when it did, it became one of the best overall units in the county.
