Joel (pronounced ho-ELL) was one of the most dominant forces on the offensive line within the county. A massive left tackle, that can really move, which fits perfectly into Coach Lepper’s running game. Was dominant at times on defense, with almost half of his stops being behind the line of scrimmage. Also had a knack for knocking down quick passes, and served as a pretty good kicker. He will be a major piece of the puzzle moving forward in Deming. He was named All-Conference 1st Team at offensive line.
