He began the season splitting time behind center, but another injury forced his hand, and he never looked back. Already had the arm, but he showed the running ability and the toughness to get the extra yard. He tossed five touchdown passes against Lakewood, one shy of the Whatcom County record. He was named All-Conference Honorable Mention at quarterback.
