In August, when I went to Lynden Christian’s football practice, I did not expect to see Wright taking reps at quarterback. But, he proved that he can play the position at a top-notch level. His toughness as a runner cannot be understated. A pure athlete that makes guys around him better. Awesome as an edge defender, with ideal length and size. He threw for a school-record 408 yards in one game, which was the 7th most in Whatcom County history. He was named All-Conference 1st Team at Quarterback.
