Whatcom Preps Analysis:
This was a truly crazy-hard countdown to do, especially with the top dozen or-so players. Bryce got the nod at the top because of his greatness at the plate, on the mound and in the field. Because I wasn’t posting Meridian stats during the season, nobody knew that he was leading in most categories throughout the year. He was a middle-of-the-lineup batter since his freshman season, and performed all over the diamond ever since. This season he led Whatcom County in hits, triples and batting average. He also struck out 83 batters in just under 54 innings of work on the mound, while posting a 2.61 ERA. Great power, especially when he gets full extension on his swing. One of the most respected players around.
