Whatcom Preps Analysis:
I was excited to see a full season of baseball with Ryan. COVID and injuries took away most of his other three varsity seasons. He’s a smooth fielder in the middle of the infield, and can pitch when needed. He never gets cheated at the plate, and his gap power is tremendous. He led his team in doubles, and was second on the team in hits.
Coach’s Comment:
“Ryan came on hot in the second half of the season after a slow start, by the end he was one of our tougher outs at the plate. Ryan also pitched for us more than anticipated, and did a standup job when called upon.”
