Leads by example. An imposing presence at the plate if there ever was one. True gap power, as is evident with his three triples, which tied for second place in Whatcom County. An overall athlete that shows on the baseball diamond. Played first base, but had played in the outfield in the past. Despite missing a chunk of the season, still led the team in triples, and tied for the team lead in runs batted in.

“Gavin can swing it – you don’t see as many standout three-sport athletes these days, but Gav is a darn good ballplayer. He uses the whole field as a hitter, stole a few bases, and made strides defensively this year.”
