Whatcom Preps Analysis:
A true natural as a baseball player. Everything looks effortless, but you can definitely see that he puts the work in. He does a great job of going the other way on outside pitches, while pulling inside pitches. One of the best outfielders in the county as well. I’m excited to see what a true, full season will produce. Just a sophomore.
Coach’s Comment:
“Hunter has some of the most raw athleticism and power that I’ve seen since I started coaching. A left handed hitter who has the ball fly off his bat to the opposite field gap, he runs well and puts a ton of pressure on the defense. He’s missed out on a bunch of baseball over the last two years due to injuries so once he’s finally able to get in rhythm I think you will see him put up some impressive numbers. He will be a staple in our outfield for the next two seasons and I expect him to step up into one of the leadership rolls over this offseason. Keep an eye on Hunter over the next couple years, if he can really put everything together, he has a chance to be one of the best ball players in the conference.”
