Whatcom Preps Analysis:
The ace of the Mariner staff, and didn’t really get the run support, as evident when you compare his win/loss record against his ERA. He can rack up strikeouts, and seems to get better as the game goes on. He has great control of his breaking ball, and regularly threw them for strikes. Underrated at the plate, has great patience and had a big moment with a walk-off hit against Mount Baker. Just a junior, I’m really looking forward to what he does next season.

“We asked a lot of Jacob this year and he delivered. His ability to mix speeds and locate made him really tough to hit. He had some tough losses and no-decisions for us, but his sub 1.50 ERA in 54 innings speaks for itself.”
