Whatcom Preps Analysis:
Even though this was his junior season, it was likely his final varsity baseball season as the star football player will likely enroll early at the university of his choosing. Not only did he hit a Whatcom County leading six homeruns this season, but he hit them extremely far. Very quick to the ball at the plate, and swings with authority. Almost won the triple crown, and ended up leading the county in homeruns, was fourth in batting average and second in runs batted in. He also happened to lead the county in on-base percentage. I wouldn’t pitch to him either.
Coach’s Comment:
“Landen moved to catcher this year and did a phenomenal job defensively. He also had a great year at the plate, highlighted by setting the school’s single season homerun record with six.”
