Whatcom Preps Analysis:
A streaky hitter that can get as hot as anyone when it’s going right. Awesome power through the zone. One of the most aggressive hitters in Whatcom County, he’s up there to hit, not walk, but he still waits for his pitch. He can handle the short hop as well as anyone at first base. An opportune baserunner that will always take advantage of his opponents mistakes.
Coach’s Comment:
“Talk about a guy that is willing to do whatever it takes for the team; Brady is the man for the job. I can’t remember how many pitches I’ve seen this guy wear over the years but it seems like he found a way to do it at least once a game. He’s been our anchor at 1st base over the years and on top of that one of our best base runners. He understand the game and the how to take advantages of things on the base paths. He has raw power at the plate when he runs in to the ball and did a great job all year of working the count. Brady made some huge plays at 1st base all year, snagging short hops on big double plays or throws on the run. He’s done a great job of mentoring the next guy in line along the way as well, speaks a lot about the type of player that he is.”
