Whatcom Preps Analysis:
Pure intensity. An emotional leader on the team, though just a sophomore. Extremely athletic for a kid his size. He was the cleanup hitter for the Mountaineers, and has a strong left handed bat that can spray it all over the field. He goes all out on every play in the field, and that’s all you can ask for in a competitor. He led his team in doubles, runs batted in and walks.

“Jesse plays with a fiery attitude, and this year he had a knack for putting the ball where the defenders weren’t. I think he surprises people with how good he is as a base runner for someone his size who doesn’t have great speed.”
