Whatcom Preps Analysis:
An awesome player, that had a rough season numbers-wise. He would have been ranked higher if some of his line drives would have fell. Still led his team in triples, home runs and walks. One of very few players that walked more times than struck out. Just a sophomore that has a very bright future.
Coach’s Comment:
“Brody was bouncing back from rotator cuff surgery this last summer. He played 3rd and 1st for us this year and his arm looked good throwing across the diamond. He was also our 3 hitter, and his stats don’t reflect his season. Brody is a good hitter and can use the whole field. He sees the ball well and has good hand eye coordination. He had more lineouts than I have ever seen from one player. I remember one time after Brody lined out in a game he said, “If I had a million dollars I still couldn’t buy a hit”. Excited to see what Brody can do next year.”
