Whatcom Preps Analysis:
Talk about a complete baseball player. He’ll do whatever it takes to win, especially at the plate. A master at the sacrifice bunt, but if you let him loose to swing, he’ll drive it all over the field. Finished with a .403 average, and his .672 slugging percentage led the team. He also led the entire county in doubles, and he was second in the county in runs scored, triples and walks. He was also very smooth at second base.

“Duke is the third brother that has gone through our program and each one has made an appearance at the State baseball tournament. He has seen firsthand the amount of work that needs to be done in order to be successful at the state level. He invested so much time this off-season working on his hitting and I was proud of the results that he got during the season. Duke earned all northwest conference first team.”
