Whatcom Preps Analysis:
After playing third base his entire career, he moved to catcher this year and had a superb season. Quick as a cat behind the plate, and has a great arm. No-nonsense approach allows him to keep steady throughout a long season. Plays with a ton of confidence, and it’s hard to believe this wasn’t his senior season. He led his team in hits, doubles, runs batted in and batting average, while also leading the entire county in stolen bases with 23. He struck out just four times in 70 plate appearances. The kind of player you want to play with, or coach.

“Carson got on base for us all year, and nearly broke the school record for stolen bases this season. He also caught well for us all year, which was a new position for him. Beyond that he was a great leader and mentor for our younger guys in the program.”
