Another player that missed a chunk of the season due to injury, and would have likely been ranked higher if he remained healthy. The heart and soul of the Mountaineer program over the past few seasons. A tremendous arm behind the plate, and a bulldog on the mound. A rare hitter that sprays the ball to all fields with equal power. Despite missing the final few weeks of the season, he still led his team in hits, doubles, runs batted in, batting average and sacrifice flies. He also struck out just twice in his 56 plate appearances.
