Whatcom Preps Analysis:
Fundamentally sound in every aspect of his game. It almost looks like it’s too easy for him, but I can assure you that he works hard at his craft. He can make every play at shortstop, and he rakes in the middle of the lineup. He’s up there to hit, and will rarely take walks. As the season wore on, hit pitching just got better and better, and finished the season with an unblemished record. When he’s pitching down in the strike zone, he’s really tough to hit. He also might be the best fielding pitcher that I saw all season.
