Whatcom Preps Analysis:
In a down year for the Mounties, it was hard to not notice the top-end abilities of Nason on the field. Usually batting in the cleanup spot, he has all the offensive tools you can imagine with patience (leading the team in walks), power (leading the team in triples) and speed (second on the team in steals). Defensively, he can play all over the place, but was used mostly at shortstop. Even though he didn’t pitch this year, because of an arm injury from last season, he could still wing it across the diamond with ease.
