“Ella has the drive to win in everything she does. Whether it is at practice, a drill, or a game, she is always producing a strategy to get the best out of herself and the team. She has been a threat for us both on offense and defense. As a first-year starter she runs a versatile offense with a high volleyball IQ, while simultaneously studying the other team’s defense to know when to be an attacker herself. She puts up a strong block for our defense and reads the opponent’s outside hitters well, requiring the opponent to change up their shots. She is a teammate that sets high standards and is always looking out for her teammates.”
