
NOOKSACK – Sophomore Tyler Miles has pitched in two games for the Mountaineers, and she has two complete game shutouts. This time against Nooksack Valley, as Mount Baker won 15-0 in four innings on a wet Tuesday afternoon.

Kayleah Sleveland continued her hot hitting, going 2-for-3 with a double and her second home run of the season. She also scored four runs and had two RBI’s. Junior Anya Zender had a pair of hits and runs scored while knocking in three Mounties.
Kennedy West also had a big game with a single, a double, two runs and three RBI’s. Christeena Smith-Hall and Grace Davis combined to go 4-for-4, with Smith-Hall adding an RBI and Davis scored three runs.
Makenzie Unser and Kaity Paz each got a hit for the Pioneers, and Unser also stole two bases.
Mount Baker (3-0) hosts Blaine (0-1) today at 4:30, and Nooksack Valley will play Sehome at Geri Fields on Tuesday at 4:30.
