In this podcast, Ryland and I continue to count down the Top 100 list. We go from number 62 to 44 in this podcast, and we talk about each athlete named, their stats and highlights of their season
Thank you to Sehome freshman Nolan Wright for the intro!
Hi Tyler,
We wanted to send a Big Thank You to you for all of your feedback this season regarding Blaine player #75,
Jacob Voigt. He actually got named player #61 on the Whatcom County list on his 18th birthday, so that made his day even better! This was only Jacob’s second season playing football (and he only played minimally in the 21-22 season), this was his first year playing DE. Also of note, Jacob had broken his leg in wrestling practice at the end of ‘21 and has had two surgeries since then to repair it. It is bittersweet that this is Jacob’s senior year as he was so loving playing football, but he definitely ended his high school football career with a job well done and was even given the Coach’s Award in Blaine.
Thank you for all of your work for Whatcom County sports.
Take care.
Sincerely,
Lisa and Mark Voigt
That is so awesome! I loved watching him play, always 100%, always giving everything he had.
